We desire to help women love God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength by seeking to know Him through his Word, praising him together, and applying the truths of Scripture to ourselves daily. We are running this race together, admonishing and encouraging one another as we wait expectantly for eternity with our Lord and Savior. We aim to be disciplined, intentional, loving, and faithful as we follow Christ and proclaim the gospel in our community. By God’s grace, in the power of his Spirit, he will make us to be beautiful reflections of Christ, for our abundant and eternal joy, and for his glory forever.

2022 Women’s Mini-Retreat
Pursuit: The Doctrine of Restoration

What is Pursuit?
Pursuit is a series of four mini-retreats that will be happening at Buffalo City Church in Jamestown, ND. The purpose of these retreats is to encourage Biblical literacy and Biblical fellowship among women in our city and region. We will be focusing on the story of Scripture in four parts: Creation, The Fall, Redemption, and Restoration. We will be tracing God’s redemptive plan from beginning to end through the story of Scripture in order to grow in our understanding of who God is and what he requires of us as his children.
Who is invited?
Every woman who would like to attend! These retreats will happen at BCC, but we hope that we will be joined by many sisters in Christ throughout Jamestown and the surrounding areas. We are praying for believers to come and be strengthened in their walk with the Lord and in their relationships with their sisters in Christ. It’s also for those who are seeking, but are still uncertain of what they believe, to come and hear how God loves them and sent his Son for them.
What should I expect during the event?
Each mini-retreat will follow the same schedule, but will focus on a different aspect of Redemption History (also known as the story of Scripture). There will be prayer, worship, teaching, small group discussion, snacks, and a meal. The retreats are an opportunity for you to step out of your usual routine and take a deep breath, retreating into the word of God and being encouraged and loved by your sisters in Christ.
What is the cost?
The cost for each mini-retreat is $10. This will cover snacks and a meal. There will be scholarships available for those who can’t cover the cost – we want everyone to be able to attend who wants to, so please don’t be discouraged if the cost is something you can’t afford.
How do I register?
Registration will be open for one month prior to each individual event. You can register at Buffalo City Church or at buffalocitychurch.com/women. The registration fee will be due at the time of registration.
